Not really required but this mod doesnt make sense without it. Yavapai trail links up to Templeton trail via smaller trails which links up to the cathedral rock trail. Its a MUCH longer walk to get to Cathedral Rock trail but the views of the rock formations along the way are the BEST. Varner Road in Cathedral City will be closed between Date Palm Drive and Mountain View Road until about noon Monday.
